Workouts =Itchiness to the Extreme
Everytime I work-out I get an extreme case of itchiness - a burning itchy sensation runs through my body, particularly my legs.
Does this happen to anyone?
Why does it happen??

Yea, I get that. I don't really know if theres a way around it, I've just come to try and ignore it though - sorry, wish I had some magic solution. Occasionally, I'll go out of my way to ensure that I moisturize, though the solution might be a placebo effect.

I've noticed this as well...since getting serious about running ( increasing intensity and duration)about 8 months ago I've been getting an itchy "reddish" patch under my right knee, on occassion under both knees, this usually happens when my body temp. is way up. What I have found helps is getting some air on it (cool the area and yourself down) and moisturizing (espesially with a good body oil).

I think it's because you have increased blood circulation... Every time I hit my second set of squats I get extremely itchy. (Squats are my first workout every time I lift).
Sort of reminds me of those handheld vibrating back massage things. They make you itch bigtime.

Too funny- it is increased blood flow.............. exercise or vibration can certainly do it............ riding on my DH's harley makes my butt itch like mad!

THIS. its the circulation. I don't think there is anything you can do to decrease your sensitivity to it!

Yes it's the blood circulation. Hot baths used to cause me to itch like this when I was younger.

I tell you what will really make you itch, is a hard run in cold weather, as soon as you stop, your skin, especially the quads, itch like crazy for about 15 mins
