Mine does as well. I got MGS4 at mid night when it came out there. They only had 2 80g MGS4 bundle consoles though and those were way spoken for.

Don’t PS3 Gamers Like Modern Warfare 2?

I was just looking at the American preorder chart, and the numbers seemed strange. I am comparing the number of PS3 preorders to the number of 360 preorders, as a percentage:
Modern Warfare 2 – 38%
Dragon Age: Origins – 54%
Assassin’s Creed II – 69%
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – 88%
Tony Hawk: Ride – 89%
Dante’s Inferno – 100.4%
Given the market share of the PS3 and the 360 in the Americas, I would think that a ratio like the one Assassin’s Creed II is getting sounds about right. But instead we get wildly differing ratios depending on the game. This shows that a PS3 gamer has a different profile than a 360 gamer.
One thing I want to know is: why are PS3 gamers so much more interested in BC2 than they are in MW2? Is it Activision’s obvious 360 bias? Infinity Ward’s? What is it about MW2 that is turning PS3 owners away? Personally, it’s the only game I plan to buy for the rest of the year, so I’m curious as to why other PS3 gamers are staying away from it.

Because more casual gamers have Xbox 360 and more casual gamers know about games like MW2.
All my friends have 360, so I have to get MW2 for 360. Any other game I get for PS3.

DEMONS SOULS HELP
This game is brutal. Been playing the first level. Got so far into it and died, twice. Lost all souls.
I don't understand, can't you pause this game?! And do I have to take the time to play through a WHOLE realm from start to finish in order to do it? I cant save during realms?!

Naw brah, no pausing or nothing. Keeps you on your toes. It's a grind to play man, but fun as hell.

It's not turn based. You control 1 person at a time in real time but you can pause the game and issue commands to each individual person in your group or you can issue commands to an entire party at once. My biggest part so far was 3 people. There's going to be lots of skills and equipment to micromanage but it's not turn based.
You choose one of the classes to start with (warrior, rogue, mage) and each one has a bunch of different skills and stats you can customize. I chose warrior which has a defensive shield tree, a dual wielding tree, a 2 hand weapon tree and a general tree. Each class has 4 sub classes for it that you get later in the game. And each tree has a 2 branches that lead to different skills.
Overall there's 6 different story paths at the beginning depending on which gender, race (human, elf, dwarf) and class you pick. So my Human Warrior has a completely different story then what my friend is seeing as an Elf Rogue.
Anything specific you guys wanna know?

Isn't Dragon Age like WoW? In the sense you point and click and watch your guy fight?

Well I'm not very far into the game but it was pretty basic loot so far. Simple mace, dagger, bow, 2h sword, etc. off things I'd killed. You can equip things as long as you meet the requirements but depending on which class and specialty you pick you'll want to stick to 1 type of equip.
Most of what I played was a lengthy intro and story sequence. Still very good though. I can't say much on loot yet cause it's still early.

Yeah. You keep any items you picked up, but you don't keep your souls. But if you can get to where you died last, you can regain any souls you lost.
Look for hints left by other players, should help out a bit.

I can't really explain it, other than to say if if any of those games sell more on the PS3 than MW2 (other than poooossibly BFBC2, but that doesn't come out until March, so gamers will buy in the meantime), I'll sell my PS3 and unsubscribe to this thread. I'd say some people are expecting to pirate it, because of angst towards manufacturer, or will buy locally. Once those potential pirates realize it is not as easy as they think, they'll go to Best Buy.

It is always saving, you can tell from the top right there is a little indicator. In terms of saving your soul points, you gotta go back to the nexus and use it up. Mobs will respawn though.

Yeah, weird stuff. I mean both consoles have millions and millions of sold units out there. Anyway, here's another leaks game play of the single player of CODMW2. Now this looks fun.

i must be misunderstanding you. so you are saying if i die somwhere in the level that i can re-spawn at that exact same point?? as opposed to starting from the start of the level. cause everytime i die it takes me back to the beginning of the level.

Oh, in that sense, no. But you keep all the items.
It saves as soon as you die too so don't even try reloading.

So far I think it's gonna keep me busy till the end of the year. Not only has it been a ****ing epic story so far, but multiple playthroughs will be a must since there are basically 6 different story paths in the beginning aside from having tons of different ways to customize your character's abilities.
To me it's like the complete opposite of Demon's Souls. DS was all combat with little story (though the story was decent). DA so far is all great story well told through interactive cutscenes and great voice acting, music, etc. with decent combat though the combat is nothing special. But it could get way better, I am only <2 hours into the game.

Are you playing it on PC or PS3, Ces.? If it's the PS3, how is the party controlling. That's what I'm concerned about
